ScanLife iPhone App Now Available For Free

ScanLife, which is a pretty cool barcode recognition app for mobile devices, has launched a free app- available in the App Store now. The barcodes can launch iTunes to purchase or sample a music track, or likewise, open YouTube to play a video. It’s yet another perfect marketing tool tailored to the iPhone’s innovative functions an UI.

People can also create their own 2D barcodes @ ScanLife.com. The app is available for several other mobile devices and platforms as well, including BREW, Java, Symbian, Palm, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile.
